Here are our frequently asked questions. Please don't hesitate to contact me with any other questions or enquiries you may have!


Somewhere between light & bright and romantic, my style varies for each shoot however if you look at my gallery I'm sure you'll see a distinct style or pattern!
Pricing (What, how and Why?!)
Number one question to any photographer is regarding pricing, (You cost how much?! What is your fee? Do I have to pay for each image individually? Why is photography so expensive?!).
Well every photographer is different and charges a different fee, some charge for the session (a lesser fee) and the real price comes in when buying the images whilst others charge for a digital image package.
I personally prefer to give my clients
a set number of images as clearly
outlined in my packages. I feel this
creates a simple way for everyone to
understand what the are getting and
at what cost with no hidden fees!
Photography isn't always affordable
to everyone and yes I agree it can be
expensive but that is the difference between cost & worth.
Can you place a value on having your treasured memories frozen in time? Having photos of your sweet fresh newborn hanging on the wall? Pictures of you (in front of the camera for once!) running and enjoying the company of your family ?
I certainly can't put a price on that. However I can guarantee its worth.
Photography isn't a cost but an investment
Do you work with a second photographer?
No, not currently however on occasion I do work with a photography assistant or for my food photography sessions I do include a food stylist.
Do you edit all of our photographs?
No, on an average session I will take between 300-600 images. I very carefully hand pick each image that I edit for my clients. Editing itself takes between 30-60 minutes per image; that could mean 600 hours of editing per session! Which sadly just isn't humanly possible! Plus there are always plenty of outtakes which no one needs to see!
Where are you based and how far do you travel?
I am based from my home in the beautiful Maroochydore. I only shoot on location and I travel anywhere on the Sunshine Coast.
Do you provide video services?
No, I don't but I highly recommend Lucia from The Four Elements Films.
Do you have an assistant?
Yes & No, not always but on occasion, I will use an assistant if I think the session requires one.
Do you have past clients we can speak to as references?
I do NOT under an circumstance give out my clients personal information or contact details unless they approve. I do have reviews on Facebook I encourage you to visit!
Can some of our images be delivered in black & white and colour?
Yes! In my editing process I will determine whether I think an image will suit Black & White and in most cases provide both images if I have made a Black & White image. However if you wish to have every image in Colour and Black & White please mention in your pre-session consultation or during your session. A small fee of $30 will be added for extra time.
How long does it take to receive our photographs?
My official policy is up to 7 Business days. I know that seems like quite a while but please be patient as the editing process does take time & I am doing everything in my power to ensure you receive the perfect images.
Are our digital images watermarked?
No! Absolutely not! This is the product you are paying for and they will never be watermarked! Please note that images I post on social media may be watermarked to prevent anyone from claiming my work as their own.
How many photographs will we receive?
Each session varies and each package has a number of images written as an inclusion. That number of images is the minimum number you will receive. If for any reason I am unable to provide that set number of images, the session will be redone free of charge (although this hasn't happened yet!)
Do we get the copyright of our images?
I retain the copyright of the image as the photographer however you are granted unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use or reproduce the images as you see fit.
Do we receive unedited or raw images of our session?
No, in each package I provide a set amount of retouched photographs but I do not provide the RAW or unedited files.
How would you describe your style of photography?

Do you take posed family photos?
Again it varies per shoot! I try to steer away from to much posing, I prefer letting the family play and have fun together and capturing the individual natural beauty of each families connection. I do use encouraging questions and jokes to get everyone laughing from time to time.
Can we provide you with a shot list or must take photos?
Certainly! Email some through or download to your phone to show me at your session!
What kind of equipment do you use?
I am a Nikon girl through & through! Most sessions all I need is my trusty Nikon, a couple of lenses & my eye for light. I usually have the car loaded up with a ton of supplies also (step ladder, baby wipes, spare batteries etc.) it all comes in handy!
How do I pay for my Session?
Payment options include; Bank Transfer, Paypal, Cash or Credit Card at the time of your session.
Can we pay (full or part) after the session?
I will happily offer payment plans or work out something that will work for you and your family, however, I can not hand over the finished product until the session in paid in full.
If I need to cancel my session will I be refunded?
I understand that life gets in the way and things come up unexpectedly, therefore I do not charge for cancellation of sessions. If Payment has been made the full amount will be refunded.
If you must cancel your session, please give us the courtesy of giving us a few days notice where possible.
